Hello! I’m Jeff Altman, a big hunter. This will be the first in a series of coaching videos that I have nothing to do with job search. Yesterday I was talking to an old client of mine who transferred his living environment to me. I’ve known this man for 30 years. We are not good friends, but he took the time to talk to me a lot. He was talking to me about his work and said most nights, I was going home around nine o’clock. I was on the train in the early morning. When I went in, my wife basically fell asleep. For me, she was experiencing depression and I was suffering from doing my own job.

Then I have to ask you a question – is this related to your own living environment, is this really what you want? Is this something you are willing to tolerate in order to maintain your lifestyle? If so, that would be great! If you are unhappy, it’s time to make changes. Now, I don’t think these changes should be. Because, again, I don’t know your financial situation. I don’t know your living environment. I know nothing about you. But I think it’s important to wake yourself up and start looking for alternatives because at the end of the day, you know, the situation with this guy is, I know, at least 30 years, I know, he might have been in the late sixties/early sixties and yes, yes, he’s successful, but painful. Is that the life you want to live? If so, it would be great. You can now stop the video. If that is not the case, it’s time to focus on these warning signs and start getting some advice, and I encourage you to find a coach, maybe therapist, someone you can work with.
