They told me I did a great job, but I haven’t heard from them yet

I was asked about what I thought was going on and I think I’ll share it with you.
Me, I am Jeff Altman, the big hunter. I direct people and organizations to play big things and get questions from someone who asks me a question about their involvement. And it’s a bit like this.
She thought she had received a good interview and had feedback live. Even after the interview, the recruiter’s phone call told her she was doing well. Nothing was heard.
Two weeks. What does this mean? What’s going on? And, you know, as I’ve said to people over the years, often things that don’t hear after getting positive feedback, which means they’re still interviewing. You know, they aren’t ready to close the doors on their dream boat, and the result is you’re in trouble.
You sit there, oh, when do they call? I hope I can hear from him as soon as possible. I know it’s frustrating. But if you sit there, waiting by the phone call from your employer, you will make a strategic mistake.
All you always need to do is put what they say is the face value. And continue the interview. Keep trying to sell yourself.
Keep working hard to get opportunities that get you in trouble and create competition for this situation. You will find that most of the time, with the jokes of recruiting businesses, when they look at others, what is put on the burner after being cited always falls off the stove. So you don’t want to rely so much on this employer so that the employer you’re waiting for on the phone is unrequited.
What you always want to do is keep on dating, which means interviewing. Continue to market yourself. Continue to promote yourself.
Stay online. Keep moving forward. Because, you know, all the things that happen until they are ready to move are your situation there tempting, but actually not.
They did not invite you back. They talked about your performance, but what? After you, they may have five more people, doing well. Now, as things go, you know, I keep complaining about employers.
Sometimes they called us a month, two months later and said, OK, we’re ready. And you shouldn’t wait for them because it’s obvious that they don’t have enough love with you to surrender and propose marriage when they meet. I mean, you two meet.
So, it’s always there to promote. Always selling yourself there. Always build a network online in person.
So, it’s the easiest thing about what’s going on. They are not ready to move. Even if they tell you that you are doing well, that probably doesn’t mean you’re getting a job or a job from them.
So, don’t fall into temptation. I want to say it again. Don’t do a good job of temptation about your temptation.
Is this directly from the employer or from a third-party recruiter. Third-party recruiters may be your supporters, or they may have four other people with the company. They don’t care which of you get the job.
They just want to charge a fee. So I simply say, keep moving forward. Don’t fall in love with the bull you threw at you.
They are not ready to move forward. And you shouldn’t be ready to sit on the phone and commit. Hope you’ve helped this.
