Rental runway or nuuly- which is better?

Share my thoughts on two of the most popular clothing rental services, renting runways unlimited and out of list. < - If you decide to check them, I have added two recommended links here!
Hi, friends! Are you OK? Hope you have had a great week so far. This is a very good person. I have a choir (one of the highlights of the week), taught two Barre classes, and met with friends while having dinner at True Food. The pilot and I also spent some time planning the rest of the year, evaluating budgets and making plans.
I like to pay annually through our subscription and then *trim fat. (Especially when groceries are billion dollars.) When we browsed everything, he saw that we were paying for rent and runways and told me he thought I should keep them because it was a shortening of my online shopping habits, especially because we had a lot of travel and activities and more trips this fall.
Yes! I’ve certainly cut shopping over the past few years and still have been able to try many interesting new object choices thanks to RTR and Nuuly.
It’s about why I like to use both services, what makes them worth it and any drawbacks I’ve experienced. You can also view older comments about RTR here.
Rental runways vs nuuly – which is better?
I like RTR and NUULY because they have different options and in different situations. I use RTR for more seasonal pieces of staples, such as comfortable jackets or special events, such as I know we have more quirky parties or parties. I like Nuuly’s more casual options like tops and dresses, and if we’re going on vacation.
I’ve used two services in the past and canceled them at various points. I’ve been clamping these two services for a few years, here are some things I’ve noticed:
advantage:
– Shop less. I have less shopping, and I don’t have much focus*fast fashion.
When I shop now, this is something I really need and like (like a new pair of amazing jeans or shoes), or I might keep something from an RTR or Nuuly shipment and pay at a discount. I discovered new brands and learned about the sizes of different brands without having to buy and exchange them many times.
– I can order dresses for the girls. I also like to pick out dresses or sweaters as LIVs in my cargo, as we often attend events together (such as NCL tea). The cost of two dresses is easily higher than what I paid for a monthly subscription. I also ordered some children to engage in activities with P choices and she loved them.
– Different styles and purposes. Nuuly is an anthropological clothing and brand, while Rent Runway is a hybrid of designer brands. Some of my favorites are Ulla Johnson, Derek Lam, Rails, Mother, Misa and Farm Rio, so I often filter my choices through my favorite brands. They also have accessories with sun panels and jewelry, handbags and jackets.
– More types and abilities to try trends with incomplete investment. I tend to dress up on the classic side, but if there is something fashionable that I want to try and not actually buy (like the whole “vested shirt” vibe), there is no promise.
– Better for the earth! It makes me feel like I’m doing something for the planet by renting clothes instead of constantly buying new things. Don’t get me wrong, I still love shopping, but I feel more careful about my shopping habits. I also like that these items are shipped from reusable bags from both companies and RTR recycles all plastic packaging.
Disadvantages/Differences:
– Sometimes the shipping is slow, especially for Bruli. Renting a runway is often faster, but I feel that the shipping time is always slightly cut in the subscription month.
– quality. Overall, I feel that renting a runway is always fresh, new and clean. I used to get some shabby and dirty pieces from Nuuly and I had to wash items that didn’t taste that fresh.
– It depends on what you are looking for. If you have holidays or activities, I definitely recommend renting a runway. If you are looking for more daily options, I will check out Nuuly.
– cost. Here is the cost difference between the two options:
Nuuly is about $100, tax/shipping (6 pieces in total for the month), and rent is about $175 (10 pieces in total for the month; you can exchange $5 at a time, you can exchange it once. They raised the price this year). For me, the events and trips we have are worth it. I might be especially worth it if you work in an office environment and want to switch rotations. My good friend works in the office and has to watch at least business leisure every day, and she is caring about RTR.
(I still wish I could keep this!)

Have you tried these two online clothing options? Are there anything else you use and love?
