Almost everyone in interviews is sold the wrong thing. This is what you should be selling.
Move up the stairs
What are you trying to sell to a hiring manager, recruiter, employer (whoever you’re talking to) in a job interview? I am Jeff Altman, big game hunter. People hire me worldwide to provide job search coaching and career advice without a bachelor’s degree because I make the process of finding and succeeding in a job easier.
What are you selling? You are not selling your qualifications. Frankly, they don’t care. They care about results. They care about the results because they start imagining you doing it for them. This is where the difference lies. If you sell your credentials and qualifications to many employers, they will start to reject you. They will start treating you like a braggart. Instead, focus on your accomplishments and what you did, and the impact those accomplishments had on your last organization or previous organizations.
I can provide more help through the jobsearch.com community. Come to this site, order a resume review from me, download free stuff, order cheap stuff, become an insider at any level and you’ll receive all of my content too. In addition to the cheapest level, you can also receive career coaching from me to help you find a job. Again, this is the jobsearch.com community. Awesome.
