From Vietnam to Nepal, Lee Me Kyeoung expands the geographical boundaries of her corner store drawings – Huge

Small corner shops are tucked in mountains and bustling streets, often at the heart of the community. For Lee Me Kyeoung (formerly), these local stores offer endless inspiration for a series of drawings ongoing. The Korean artist documented the tiny markets she encountered around the world, using pens and acrylics to create exquisite visual landscapes from Australia to Turkey.

Lee’s drawings have recently been collected into a book where you can follow her work on Instagram.
