Outset Collection by Hilton debuts in Moab

Hilton just opened its first Outset Collection hotel in Utah, offering a stylish new lodging experience near Arches and Canyonlands National Park.

Slackline Moab has 138 minimalist guest rooms with wooden headboards and eye-catching black accents, as well as extra storage space for guests’ gear. As the first Outset Collection hotel, the hotel strives to combine “community-driven spaces” with the experience travelers have come to expect from Hilton.

“Slackline Moab exemplifies the lodging experiences we create through the Outset Collection, with accommodations inspired by their surroundings and designed for travelers who want to truly connect with the places they explore,” Jenna Hackett, senior vice president and global head of Hilton Lifestyle Brand Management, said in a statement. “Moab’s spirit of adventure is reflected in every detail of this hotel, from thoughtful design to the experiences it delivers. We’re excited to launch Slackline Moab, as an early example of what guests can expect from our newest brand.”

Featuring a fire pit and outdoor pool overlooking dramatic red rocks, Slackline Moab welcomes guests to relax upon arrival. The lobby doubles as a shared space and is also home to the hotel’s gear store, stocked with trail snacks, water bottles, local travel guides and more. To fuel up for the day, the on-site restaurant, Little Station Coffee and Kitchen, offers hot breakfast, coffee and shareable snacks (think cauliflower crust pizza and pretzels) as well as beer, wine and grab-and-go items.

During their stay, guests can take part in guided hiking, biking and stargazing tours.

There is also dedicated campervan parking space with 120V/110V power sockets, showers and Wi-Fi. Travelers parking there have access to the hotel’s facilities and public spaces, guide services and gear shop.

The hotel also offers free parking and electric car charging facilities.

“Slackline Moab is designed for travelers who feel their most active outdoors, and we’re excited to welcome guests to their new home base in red rock country,” hotel general manager Rebecca Cavallaro said in a statement. “From trail-friendly amenities to comfortable relaxation spaces, every detail we designed is designed to help guests make the most of their Moab adventure.”

According to TPG’s search, rates at Slackline Moab start at $75 per night or 29,000 Hilton Honors points. Even looking ahead to next summer, prices remain reasonable, with cash prices as low as $151 in June 2026 and redemption points as low as 57,000 points per night.

In addition to Moab, the hotel group is working on opening more Outset Collection by Hilton hotels, including the ACME Hotel Chicago. Hilton told TPG there are currently 60 hotels in development. The organization said each property was “selected for its unique character and sense of place”.

This follows Hilton’s decision to launch a new Hilton Honors Adventure category, allowing travelers to use Hilton Honors points to book luxury cruises and glamping experiences. First, non-hotel outdoor travel experiences include partnerships with AutoCamp and luxury cruise line Explora Journeys.
