Another art fair hosted by Saatchi Art returns to Ravenswood, Chicago from October 30 to November 2, a version full of creative surprises. More than 115 independent artists will provide the venue with fresh artwork, playful installations and interactive experiences that make the artwork accessible, fun and memorable. Opening night celebrations
Start things with nights of art, music and performance. The celebration was presented by WBEZ and Vocalo, which included Rocio Santos’ DJ suit, and a live show by Odette Stout. Her project, Cute acceleration, Turn the exhibition into a living device as the tow performers move the space among dazzling wearable sculptures.
Friday Night: Halloween Edition
Chicago’s favorite Friday night art party sparkles. Trafficking rituals of insects that dive into insect shelters, impress the moody poses with the portrait of Max Li (and appear in costumes, with a chance to win one for free) and explore the fair at night with art, music and Halloween energy. Artist design mini golf
Mini golf, but makes it art. This year, five Chicago artists each created a fully playable hole that was a sculpture, partially installed and completely unexpected part. Step on the green, walk through imaginative designs and see who stands out. Perfect for groups, this is your chance to bring romping competition into the art world.
Weekend highlights
