Delta Air Lines is expanding its partnership with Uber, and with it good news for Delta Amex Cardmembers. Cardholders with featured Delta cards will receive a new monthly membership letter of credit covering six to 12 months of Uber One membership. Registration is required.
Additionally, if you have an Apple card, you can join Uber One Action with a free six-month trial.
Let’s look at the details of this exciting new membership credit and free trial.

How to get a free Uber One membership with Delta Amex card

How to register
- Go to the Delta and Uber landing pages.
- Select “Register Uber One”.
- Register and use its qualified Delta AMEX as a payment method.
You must sign up for an automatically updated monthly membership and you will receive a declared credit of up to $9.99 per month. Once the six or twelve-month period is over, you will not receive any further stated credits and unless cancelled, Uber One membership will be automatically updated with $9.99 plus $9.99.

How to get a free Uber One membership on your Apple card
If you have an Apple card without grades, you can sign up for a free six-month Uber apple card. To register, simply:
- Go to the Apple Card and Uber landing pages.
- Select Register.
- Sign up for a free trial with your Apple card and use Apple Pay.
After the free trial period ends, Uber One membership will be automatically updated at $9.99 per month. If you want to cancel, make sure to set up a calendar reminder a few days before the end of the six-month trial period. Currently, there is no set date yet, when will this free trial offer be ended.
Additionally, the term says: “The offer is valid for new subscribers in the United States and Puerto Rico, but not for existing Uber One subscribers.
If you currently have an Uber One membership, it’s better to cancel it and sign up for this trial.

What is Uber?
Uber One is a monthly subscription service that offers benefits to members when ordered with Uber or delivered with Uber Eats. It costs $9.99 plus monthly tax or $99.99 plus tax per year. Uber claims members save an average of $25 per month.
Benefits include:
- $0 Delivery fee for eligible food, groceries, etc.
- 6% Back to the ride in the form of Uber One Ared
- Eligible food and pickup orders for up to 10% off
- Earn 10% of Uber Car Rental Credits
- Discounts provided by exclusive members
- No cancellation fee for the ride
As a current long-time Uber One member, I find the program to be of great value. I have a lot of Uber rides every month and 6% of the defenders are very helpful to me because it is immediately credited to your account after each ride and I can use these credits immediately on my next ride or delivery order. In fact, every qualified ride is actually a 6% discount.
Also, the no-modern fee allowance for rides is very good due to the Uber I often order, but if there is a higher price on another ride app, I will cancel it for free and take the higher price option.
Better yet, you can stack the benefits of up to $10 in the Delta Platinum and the Reserve Family with the benefits of up to $10 in monthly ride credits (for U.S. services; up to $120 per year; up to $120 per year; required registration per year; required enrollment per year). You can use your monthly ride credit on your Uber riding and get 6% return on your Uber One credits.
Meanwhile, with an Apple card, you will be able to get a 3% cashback when you pay with your Apple Card via Apple Pay. Plus, you can stack 3% cash back from your Apple card, while Uber One gets 6% back from qualified rides.
Expert tips: I have both an Apple card and a qualified Delta card. First sign up for a free trial with your Apple card, because this free trial can be deleted since there is no end date. Then, sign up for Uber One membership credit with your qualified Delta card.
Bottom line
The addition of free Uber One membership to these cards is a welcome addition. If you dine on Uber or Uber frequently, this will save you some money every time.
However, if you are not a regular user, you can try Uber for free and see if it provides you with value. Just remember that if you don’t plan to retain a membership, please remind you to cancel your membership.
