If you know one or two things about coffee, you may find the other brands recommended here are too low. But, can you get out the coffee sommelier? Cruo’s coffee concentrate is curated by such tasters (also known as “Q-classifiers”), and I can’t stop saying “Wow” loudly when testing branded products. From high-end, matte packaging and shiny metal plugs to the included jigger, I was impressed at first glance. Once I mix the lenses filled with extractant liquid together, the taste is impressive. Berry points out in the Colombian blend, the nuances in the Ethiopian blend or nuts, the fruity flavor.
I’m not a coffee snob – I did test the Pod coffee machine after all – and even I can taste the difference here. This isn’t necessarily the most economical option – a bottle of $33 bottles of concentrate produces 12 cups of coffee. Another note is that this is shorter shelf life than the others we have tested. But if you are a true coffee lover, this single substance thing is right in your alley.
