The New York Times podcast “Daily” airs an episode about college-educated people leaving big cities. This is why.

If you are an employer in one of the largest urban areas in the United States, you may have noticed that a college-educated talent pool has begun to shrink, especially in highly skilled jobs.

why is that? Well, the New York Times podcast Daily has had a great show and they talked about the reasons for that. To simplify their answers, people cannot afford the quality of life that lives in your area, which they think is acceptable. Housing is expensive, taxes are expensive, which is not easy, and they get exhausted, so they move elsewhere and find satisfaction from it.

Consider hiring remote workers, well-educated people who are in low-cost areas but can work remotely for you.
