I made a mistake! What should I do now?

Jeff Altman, Big Game Hunter
Yesterday, I received a call from someone I represented a few months ago. At the time, when she called me, she was about to do a final interview through me and told me she had an offer for another dream job and decided to accept that job.
For reasons that are not necessary to describe, the dream job is a nightmare. The real question is, what if you find yourself working so hard at work seems to be much less than what you bargained for?
The first thing you need to do is find out from a colleague whether it is normal or unusual for you to find yourself. There are surprises for every job. shock. If this is just one of these shocking times, decide for yourself whether this is something you can ride or something you should go out (I encourage riding it out).
From there, meet your boss and talk about your situation and you want to know how long it will take. Sometimes the change is permanent; sometimes it lasts for weeks. It’s better to get a straight answer (or as straight as possible).
If your boss tells you that unpleasant changes will be permanent or last longer than you would like, don’t quit. It is always better to find a job while you are still working.
Finally, drop the old resume and start looking for a new location. Don’t lie because where you work or are so painful for your situation that you regard yourself as a complainant of pain. Talk about what happened. You will scare some employers who operate under similar conditions and lead to sympathy for your situation. “In any case, there has never been a bad mouth like the present or the former employer”
Employers sometimes exaggerate the good quality of their jobs without doing enough to describe the difficult part. The result is that employees often get shocked when they find rough edges.
If you find yourself in this situation, take a little time and make sure to perform the first two steps before step 3.
