Chatgpt-5 can be combined with a variety of models and tools

Currently, ChatGPT users can switch between different models, from GPT-4 to advanced inference models. Openai also has Sora, tools such as video generation and operators for web-based AI agents.

We know that Altman is not the only one to test the GPT-5. In discussing Openai’s recent gold medal at the Mathematics Olympics, OpenAI research scientist Alexander Wei promised: “We are about to release the GPT-5.”

The Technological Radar also cites independent researchers who found the model in “OpenAI’s internal BioSec benchmark repository, suggesting that the model has been tested in sensitive areas such as biosecurity.”

Larger context window

With each new model, OpenAI extends the context window of Chatgpt. This term refers to how much data the model can “remember” when responding to a prompt. ChatGPT developers and users are actively calling for larger context windows (the exact size varies by model), and we would be shocked if this is not part of GPT-5.

Frankly, Openai did a great job of keeping the GPT-5 leak to a minimum. In addition to some mysterious references to the model coming soon, OpenAI also maintains strict messaging discipline around the upcoming model.
