An audience is curious about whether it is possible to refer someone to a recruiter if they are not interested in the job.

People from large companies interview in a small company?

The question I received about someone is, can I refer someone to a recruiter after rejecting their opportunity? I won’t jump in the bushes.

The answer is, yes. What are the recruiters hired? Hire recruiters to fill positions. You may not be interested in what they offer, but you are helping them by referring your former colleagues or colleagues to them.

This is a good thing. They will appreciate it. Now, if you just refer some spam to them, I’m going to give an example that always happens to me.

The person I contacted with a manager or director role refers to someone who is not a manager or director but is eager to be that person and they won’t fill the job. You know, another example is that I’m trying to hire a developer and I’m referring to me about the business analyst. Two completely different features, right? Once you have heard of the position, you can use the roadmap for this job and you can say to them and tell me a little more.

I’m not interested, but I probably know someone. They will introduce some details further. Ask them another follow-up question because it will let them know that you are trying to really think about it.

Then, you know, say to them, I want to send you someone’s name and number. I’ll send them a message now and include you in the message. So just answer everything so I know you’ve come back and got in touch with them and they’ll know I’m the frame of reference for the introduction.

After that you can take me out of the loop, but it just lets me know I’ve referred it. You have replied, it’s all dealing with. Just, yes, they want to referrals from people because in the minds of recruiters, people often provide a good source to clients because they think the person who qualifies for the role is the person who references others to understand what the role might be.

Again, don’t give them spam recommendations. Don’t give them slap recommendations. It must be valid for the roles or other characters they recruit.

Otherwise, you’re just wasting their time and it looks stupid. So this is today’s performance. Hope you find it helpful.
