Six activist trolls travel through California woodlands to “save humanity” – Huge

As visitors stroll through the natural land of Filoli this summer, they will encounter a group of wooden characters who are eager to share wisdom. Trolls: Save Humanity It is a fun and urgent exhibition by Danish artist Thomas Dambo (formerly), known for creating huge fairy tale characters from recycled wood.
In Filoli, Dambo has installed six creatures, each with a unique personality and agenda. There is an innovative “Kamma Can,” a “treasure troll” who loves to teach people to transform the remaining wrappers and disposable containers into vibrant creations. “Ibbi Pip: The Birdhouse Troll” is similarly focused on changing the environment by installing bird houses, while “Sofus Lotufs: Lock Troll” directs our attention to the forest floor and asks us to pay attention to changes happening around us.
“I’m very happy I Troll Dubbo said: “I spent some time in the giant redwood of Philoli. I spent a day in the forest and it was a magical place where I knew me. Troll Will feel at home. ”
These characters are amazing and tempting in their figures, at the heart of activists, passionate about teaching sustainability. Like many of the artist’s practices, the exhibition uses the charm and miracles of fairy tales to convey key messages about climate crisis and human behavior.
Troll Continue until November 10 in Woodside, California. Follow Dambo’s passionate characters on Instagram.
