Earn Hyatt Travel Points
World of Hyatt will reward each hotel members with their global portfolio. You can earn points on all Hyatt Hotels booked directly on the Hyatt website, including the portfolio of the Smith Properties and over 100 all-inclusive resorts.
Hyatt Regency awards 5 points per dollar for accommodation and qualified room fees (such as room service, bar labels and spa services). This number is consistent throughout the brand’s portfolio, so if the price is the same, you will get the same points as the Hyatt Center to stay at Hyatt.
In addition to hotels, you can earn 10 Hyatt points for every qualified dollar spent on finding experience.
Travelers with the world of Hyatt Elite Identity will receive bonus points for all hotel accommodations. Here is how many extra points earned per level:
- Discoverer: 10% bonus
- Explorer: 20% bonus
- Globalist: 30% bonus
Although your points potential seems to be smaller compared to Hilton Honors and IHG’s other hotel loyalty programs, Hyatt has a lower reward rate.

Earn Hyatt bonus points through promotions
For qualifying accommodation in the selected new hotels in the Hyatt portfolio, you can earn 500 points per night during the first few months of opening.
Qualified properties listings can be found in the world of Hyatt’s website.
For other Hyatt hotel offers, check out the world of the current Hyatt promotional page to see if you can increase your revenue potential. TPG recommends signing up for a promotion even if you are unsure of staying at Hyatt Hotel. This way, if there is a last-minute trip, you will go all out.

Earn Hyatt points through meetings
Holding meetings and events at Hyatt Hotel can help you earn points and status. You will earn 1 point per dollar (up to 50,000 points) on eligible expenses such as meeting rooms and event spaces. You can also earn two levels of night points for every $5,000 qualified event fee.
Please note that a company account or individual can earn up to 60 Elite Night Points per calendar year.
Earn Hyatt points with credit card
The easiest way to increase Hyatt balance is to use the right credit card. Chase’s two common brand Hyatt credit cards are currently open to new applicants: The World of Hyatt Credit Cards (See rates and fees) and The World of Hyatt Business Credit Cards (See rates and fees).
The World of Hyatt Credit Cards
Annual fee: $95
Welcome quote: Spend $4,000 in purchases in the first three months of account opening and earning two free nights. In addition, $12,000 was spent in the first six months of opening an account, earning 25,000 bonus points.
Category Bonus: Earn 4 points per dollar when you use a card on a Hyatt Hotel with a qualified purchase card; spend 2 points per dollar on restaurants, airlines purchased directly from the airline, local transit and commuting, and fitness club and gym membership; spend 1 point per dollar on all other qualified purchases.
privilege: You get a free night each year after Card’s anniversary, valid on any 1-4 categories of property. You can earn your second free night by spending $15,000 on your card membership year. The card also offers automatic discovery of elite status as long as your account is open. You will enjoy night credits for the five-tier qualifier every year, as well as additional credits spent on the card for every $5,000 spent.
The World of Hyatt Business Credit Cards
Annual fee: $199
Welcome offer: Earn 60,000 bonus points in the first three months of opening.
Category Bonus: You will earn 4 points per dollar on qualifying purchases at Hyatt, quarterly expenditure categories and fitness club and gym memberships, spend 2 points per dollar, and 1 point per dollar on all other qualifying purchases.
privilege: Get up to $100 in Hyatt credits per anniversary year (with a statement credit of $50 of $50, up to twice per anniversary year when you spend $50 or more with a card at any Hyatt hotel). As long as you hold a card, you will also get automatic Hyatt Discoverer status and the ability to gift a discoverer up to five employees to the discoverer. For every $10,000 you spend in a calendar year, you will receive five-tiered night credits to earn a higher Hyatt Elite status.
Earn Hyatt points with partners
If you don’t have the upcoming Hyatt Hotel and there is no market for the new credit card market, don’t worry. There are still ways to collect Hyatt Points.
Transfer credit card rewards to Hyatt World
You can transfer the Chase Eltimate Rewards point to Hyatt’s world at a 1:1 ratio. Most importantly, the transfer should be processed immediately.
Chase SapphireReserve® (See interest rates and fees): Spend $5,000 in purchases in the first three months after opening an account, earning 100,000 bonus points and $500 in chase promotion credit.
Additionally, if you are a Bilt Rewards member, you can immediately transfer the Bilt Rewards points to Hyatt’s world at a 1:1 ratio.
Transfers are irreversible, so we recommend that you only recommend transfer points as long as you have a specific redemption.

Transfer points between family and friends
The world of Hyatt members can transfer points between accounts for free. However, you can only send or receive points every 30 days. Unfortunately, you cannot complete this transfer online. You must fill out this form (PDF link) and submit it by email. Both members and recipients who transfer points must sign the form before submitting it. After receiving the form and reviewing the form, Hyatt will complete the transfer.
Buy Hyatt Point
The ultimate way to earn Hyatt Points is to buy them directly. Generally speaking, you rarely (if any) buy points or miles of any kind without rewards or discounts. Fortunately, Hyatt has some frequent promotions for buying points. If you have high-end redemption and need to delete your account, you can choose to buy Hyatt Point.
