Amex Blue Business Plus is a good reason

This is where TPG can help.

One underrated card to consider is BlueBusiness® plus American Express credit card. AMEX designed this card for small businesses and sole proprietorships using a direct reward system.

You can get free rewards for daily expenses and business expenses (see Fees and Fees). Here are seven reasons why blue business plus should have a place in your wallet.

Many of the best business cards have annual fees. If your business is smaller or just starting out, you may not be able to afford the often expensive expenses associated with many popular cards. If so, a card like Blue Business plus such a card might be perfect.

AMEX Membership Rewards Points are the most valuable on the market. American Express has 20 transfer partners – 17 airlines and 3 hotels.

This gives you access to rewards from airlines and hotel programs from around the world. According to TPG’s July 2025 valuation, the value of member reward points is 2 cents per point when you redeem with Amex’s transfer partner. With the right booking, you can get more value from it.
