A new book cultivates a rich survey of 300 magnificent gardens – Huge

From the inconspicuous backyard plot to the woods of the Royal Water Theater of Versailles, the garden has long been a source of sustenance, beauty and spiritual communication. A book by Phaidon Sprouts is from this history, which celebrates how these joyful and grand attractions last forever throughout the era.
Contemporary Garden Carry out 300 green spaces in 40 countries, investigating the eternal connection between gardening, nature and aesthetics. Its 300+ pages include private and public places, a wide variety of styles, from wild plots in the city center to impeccable trimming executives to designing as much reward water as leaves.
While the book only has access to some gardens, many of its pages highlight good areas that are open to the public, such as the elevated island of New York designed by Heatherwick Studios. Perhaps no surprise, several spaces also doubled with outdoor galleries (including Manhattan’s High Line) or the artwork itself. The latter category is Gabriel Orozco’s The Orozco Garden, which is built through intricate brickwork and overgrown grass bridges and gardening at the South London Gallery.
Bridging natural science with art and design, Contemporary Garden Showcase Even in this increasingly digital age, green spaces remain one of human perennial fascinations.
Planned to be released in late September Contemporary Garden Booking is available at Colossal Shop.
