This is a credit card from the only personal common brand from Hyatt World, so if you are loyal to the reward-friendly hotel chain, you might want to consider it.
Here are the things you get from the Hyatt Card world every year so you can make up your mind.
Welcome offer
New applicants The World of Hyatt Cards Earn:
- In the first three months, $4,000 was spent in the first three months of account opening, and there were two free nights on any category 1-4 Hyatt hotel free nights
- 25,000 bonus points after the first six months of opening an account opening
This offer ends on August 28.
The free nights and points included in this bonus are worth $1,037 per TPG’s July 2025 valuation. Please note that this is only the case if you meet the expenditure requirement and have two free nights at 18,000 points in a Class 4 property.
The most obvious way to redeem Hyatt wine is to live with the hotel in Hyatt World. This includes not only hotels with the name “Hyattage Hotel”, but also other Hyatt brands such as small luxury hotels in the world. Hotel redemption can include free night rewards and points + cash payments.
You can also redeem points for dining, spa or conference credits, find experiences, car rentals and room upgrades.

The World of Hyatt uses peak and off-peak awards, which means you will earn more points for hotel accommodation around the holidays and busy travel seasons. Instead, if you can travel in quiet times, you can redeem fewer points.
Off-peak pricing for Category 1 properties starts at only 3500 a night. Hyatt Hotels has eight different categories, with peak pricing at 8 properties at a price of 45,000 per night.
You can also transfer a 1:1 Hyatt account world from Chase Ultimate Rewards. These points should be transferred immediately.

Free Night Award of the Year
You will receive a free night reward every year on your cardholder anniversary. It can be used for a free night in categories 1-4 hotels around the world. It is also worth pointing out that you won’t pay for litigation in the Hyatt Awards.
This benefit alone justifies the $95 annual fee for Hyatt Cards, as you can redeem your free night with a minimum effort of $200 or more.

Win the second free night award
In addition to getting free free night rewards every year, you can also get a second free night award (effective in categories 1-4 properties) by spending $15,000 on your calendar year on your card.

Elite identity and related interests
As a cardholder, you get free discoverer identity every year. This is the entry-level status layer in the Hyatt world, but it offers reliable value and privilege.
It offers free bottled water during your stay, late checkout (if any), and offers preferred room upgrades in the same room category (if any).
Additionally, you will get a 10% bonus point (5.5 instead of spending 5 points) for your cash duration.
Earning discovery status usually requires staying at the Hyatt Hotel at least 10 nights a year. Hyatt loyalists may be able to gain the status of discoverers alone every year, but those who do not travel frequently or are unfaithful to a brand may not be able to do this. This can make the card’s free finder identity very attractive.
With your personal Hyatt Card World, you will receive two-level qualifying night credits to enjoy the status of every $5,000 spent on that card. Therefore, spending $15,000 on a free night award (detailed above) will also produce six-level qualifying nights. There is no limit on the number of class qualification nights earned through credit card spending.

You will earn Hyatt points on every card purchase. At Hyatt Hotels you will earn 4 points per dollar, which is part of your Hyatt loyalty program, and the points you earn.
You will earn 2 points on restaurants and commuters, fitness clubs and gym memberships, direct from airline-purchased flights and transit-purchased flights; each dollar spent on other purchases.
According to TPG’s July 2025 valuation, these rates represent expenditure gains of 6.8%, 3.4%, and 1.7%, respectively.
You can get a much better return on your daily spend than other credit cards, but it’s worth it to help you get free night rewards and first-tier qualifying nights every year.

Bottom line
Your free night as a Hyatt Cardholder World should easily offset the $95 annual fee. Other benefits (such as earning points structures and free elite identities) vary in value depending on how you use it.
If you can make the most of these benefits, it’s easy to get an annual fee every year. If not, another card (which may offer direct cashback) may be better for your wallet.
