According to the latest Windows report, Microsoft is promoting Copilot AI to Bing users searching for rival AI chatbots.
Users searching for Open AI Chatgpt, Google’s Gemini, or Anthropic’s Claude will see a Copilot banner pop-up, prompting users to ask users for their queries on Microsoft’s AI Service and then open the Copilot website with results. The banner reads “Your co-pilot is here.”

Mixable light speed
“Take questions effortlessly, generate images and process your reliable partner’s co-pilot,” the results on Bing.com read. And, according to the latest Windows, Copilot Promotion is cleverly marked as an ad, with a beautiful print that says “Promoted by Microsoft.”
Microsoft is not alone in leading users’ own AI. For example, Google similarly promotes Gemini and AI searches on its platform via pop-ups.
Microsoft recently entered the AI browser space and introduced the Copilot mode in its AI-powered browser Microsoft Edge.
