According to TPG’s July 2025 valuation, this offer is worth $840. This is the standard welcome offer we usually see on this card, so it’s worth waiting for an offer to increase.

In addition to the points value, remember that the welcome bonus for the Southwest greeting card calculates the partner pass qualification.
Once obtained, the partner pass is valid for the remaining year and the rest of the following year, so making money early in the calendar year will help you get the most out of your pass.
However, be sure to check your eligibility before submitting your application. Like most Chase co-brand cards, this card is subject to the pursuit of 5/24 rules.
In addition, there are restrictions on how often you will receive the Southwest welcome bonus. For example, if you have received a welcome bonus for this card in the past 24 months, you may not be eligible.
