LG Cinebeam Q 4K Projector Review: I’ll probably break up with TV very well

We have a lot to do these days, many of which can cause anxiety and stress. For most of us, a highlight is sitting down and playing our favorite shows and movies. Sometimes the perfect weekend just starts Disney+ and tweaks the classic while relaxing. Of course, you can do this on your TV, but for most of us, there are limitations on these sizes. On the other hand, the projector can provide us with a huge screen. We’re talking about every Lord of the Rings Movies on a 120-inch display. While projectors used to be a fantasy we only see in classrooms or boards, we’ve come a long way about projector technology and now they can replace your home TV without spending money.

The LG Cinebeam Q is a perfect example, with a price of under $1,000. While there are some downsides, I’m excited about the Cinebeam Q and I haven’t used my regular wall-mounted TV since I started testing this projector. I probably won’t go back.

What love does LG Cinebeam Q 4K projector have?

Right now, LG Cinebeam Q provides a beautiful display. I’ve powered on hundreds of times and I’m still saying, “Oh, this is pretty” and can check the specs every time. The LG Cinebeam Q is a 4K UHD laser projector with a resolution of 3840 x 2160. Of course, you can do whatever you want, but LG recommends using the Cinebeam Q to choose a screen size between 50 and 120 inches.

During the month I was testing the LG projector, I was in a Elite Screen Yard Master Plus,,,,, Despite the name, I use it mostly indoors, but if Seattle weather is allowed, I will carry it outside. Since not everyone has a projector screen, I also used a classic alternative to white sheets. While Elite Screens offer a significantly better viewing experience, Backyard Movie Night can work with Cinebeam Q and white sheets or walls inside white walls.

While I absolutely love the portability and overall user-friendliness of the Nebula Capsule 3 Laser projector, the display quality of the LG Cinebeam Q is significantly better in side-by-side comparisons. This is expected, as the Nebula maximizes at 1080p and 300 lumens, while LG has a 4K display at 500 lumens.

Side design worth designing

We have a lot of household appliances and technology that focus on functions and forget about the appearance. Most of them are aligned with the screen

Like all quality projectors, the Cinebeam Q has autofocus and keychain. For those unfamiliar with projector terminology, KeyStoning can remove distortion that may occur to provide a perfect rectangular display instead of a weird shape. If your projector does not sit directly in front of the display area, it will appear in a deformed shape. KeyStoning adjusts it to always do the project with a perfect rectangle. Ultimately, the autofocus and keychain for LG will produce a good result. The process is fast, but you can try some, and the remote lacks a button to command the projector to redo it.

Easy storage entertainment solution

Given that it weighs only 3.3 pounds, the LG Cinebeam Q is perfect for a home that doesn’t want a traditional TV. Maybe you live in an apartment, move frequently, or you can only watch TV for a new season White lotus drop. For whatever reason, the LG Cinebeam Q is an alternative viewing method for you to be uninterested in owning a TV. The sleek and modern design allows the projector to store well on the bookshelf, otherwise its compact size will easily slide into the closet.

Except one

In addition to its compact size, the projector’s built-in bracket can be rotated to the top, serving as a convenient carry handle. This is a super portable projector that is perfect for outdoor movie nights, camping, and even packing on your in-laws’ holidays. However, there are obvious drawbacks to this portability – the LG Cinebeam Q does not have a built-in battery and must be connected to an external power supply. In the more disappointing news, the included adapter is chunky, and I want to subtract from the portability point I want to give the LG Cinebeam Q. The good news is that you can charge via USB-C, so I immediately ditched the included adapter and moved to my laptop and phone charger, the Anker 737 Ganprime Charger.

I love an outdoor movie night, so despite the power required, I still take the Cinebeam Q to the wilderness trip in the yard. I powered it because of the Anker Solix C1000 portable power station. If you don’t have this option, you must run the extension cord in the yard. This also means that unless your website is connected, it may not be worth packing on a camping trip.

Speakers worth overlooking

In testing, I found that the built-in speakers on the LG Cinebeam Q were the biggest downfall for the projector. The sound is delicate and dated, just like what you would expect from the projector you made for classrooms in the 1990s. Instead, I used a Bluetooth speaker and suggested that others do the same. I used my current favorites, Fender X Teufel Rockster Crossbut do whatever you want. Another problem with this LG speaker chaos is the lack of a 3.5mm audio jack on the projector, which feels like Apple will pull at us. This means you won’t be able to connect the home’s audio system to the projector and will be forced to connect with Bluetooth. Since most people have speakers that are capable of Bluetooth, this doesn’t feel like a deal breaker, but seems to be oversight in the design that was originally considered.

The old remote control does not match the modern atmosphere

Since it’s essentially a feature of a TV, you want the remote to work with the projector. LG’s Cinebeam remote has all the usual buttons you want, although I like the addition of autofocus, as it can sometimes get very pleasant when moving the projector to focus on the screen and it keeps re-adjusting, making your attempts perfectly suited. The real annoyance here is that the remote has a standard IR (infrared) signal and requires a receiver physically pointing to the back of the projector to work. Today, most modern cables can run via Bluetooth, so you don’t have to fix the length of the remote in the air, in my case, dodge on the Bluetooth speaker sitting behind it, or get up when the projector sits on the shelf behind me. Although this is a small gripe, it is more frequent than expected.

Perfect for movie night

If you want to see one Oscar-nominated movies On regular movie nights, the Cinebeam Q 4K is probably great. With the rising tickets and offers in cinemas, watching at home with a 4K projector can save you a lot of money in the long run. In addition, there are some special things about watching big-screen movies on the actual big screen.

One thing to remember here is the maximum 500 ANSI lumens on the Cinebeam Q, which makes it perfect for viewing in dim or dark rooms. If you want to spend an afternoon watching cheersyou might want a 4K projector with higher lumens, such as thousands of projectors. The 500 lumens on the portable projector are still impressive, but you need to make sure to work with your viewing needs.

Is LG Cinebeam Q worth it?

The LG Cinebeam Q is impressive given that the projector’s priority is image quality. This 4K resolution contrast, clarity and color made me reluctant to go back to a traditional TV. For compact projectors weighing about three pounds, the display quality is very good. The projector itself is also very well designed, and I don’t mind it hanging out in my living room.

LG believes the Cinebeam Q is a portable projector, which is mainly correct in terms of weight and size, but it requires an external power supply. If you are going to get it from the room to the room, that’s fine, but if you are going to go to the outdoor movie night, it raises a logistical question. However, this photo is so good that I don’t mind solving the power issue.
