The possibility of joy and creative communication is Vipoo Srivalasa’s practice (formerly). The artist lives and works between Australia and Thailand, known for his ceramic sculptures, and they have taken a passionate life.
The characters of Srivilasa stand between one or two feet, are floral gadgets, with patterns and golden details similar to mandalas, usually shaped like V with fingers. The lively characters evoke both ordinary and divine characters as they depict aspects of the spiritual world while rooting on the earth.

The collection of Srivilasa sculptures will be held this month at Edwina Corlette Iconic characters: Devas, God and Divas. The show brings together 15 years of artist practice, both with his signature white and blue materials and involves Terracotta’s latest enterprise, a mix of Srivalasa’s cultural heritage.
