Alila Mayakoba is now available for booking on points

Mexico’s Alila Mayakoba now accepts reservations starting in February 2026, offering a luxurious escape that beats the dull winter blues.

According to the hotel, travelers can now book luxury hotels with cash or the world of Hyatt Regency starting February 12, 2026. The property will become the first Alila-branded resort in Latin America and the Caribbean, replacing Andaz Mayakoba Maya Riviera Maya, which closed earlier this year and is a TPG favorite.

The rooms and suites at Alila Mayakoba feature a calm palette of light wood and stone and are equipped with windows of rain showers and floor-to-ceiling windows to make it natural. Rooms look out on the ocean, lagoon, garden or golf course – some rooms have their own private diving pool for the ultimate relaxation resort.

Each room is spacious and ranges from 538 square feet to 4,500 square feet for the Alila Waterfront Presidential Suite. The suite offers two bedrooms (each with its own private balcony and bathroom), a living and dining area, a private pool and butler service, all distributed among two stories.

The hotel is home to four on-site dining spaces, including the Beach Club, where guests are surrounded by palm trees, and Casa Amate sees diners as a farm-to-table experience designed to celebrate the Yucatan Peninsula. There will also be a chef’s garden workshop, which will be paired with local wines and spirits.

How to book Alila Mayakoba

When it is open, Alila Mayakoba will be a Class 6 property, with bookings starting at 21,000 per night during off-peak dates. According to the World of Hyatt Awards, the speed is as high as 25,000 a night and 29,000 a night during standard and peak dates.
