Why is employer branding important to you?
Bold? No, super bold!
Statistics show that companies with a strong employer brand attract higher quality talent and more of the talent they want than those without a strong employer brand. Why is this important? Well, even in tough times, you want to hire the right people and don’t want turnover. From an employee’s perspective, and from a candidate’s perspective, your brand has a huge impact on how they view you and whether they’ll join.
If you don’t have a brand strategy, if you don’t have an image in the market, you are invisible. Basically, you’re hiring “slackers” to do the work, which makes things more difficult, even in a recession, when you want to attract and retain talent.
