Creativity is a powerful skill that translates challenges and insights into meaningful opportunities for innovation and progress. Yet, even if AI reshapes how we solve problems, generate ideas, and drive influence, most professionals have never been taught how to be creative systematically.

Today, I am happy to announce creativity in business and other disciplines, a new course from Wharton Online, now found on Coursera. The course was developed by Wharton professor Yoram (Jerry) Wind and based on its popular MBA electives, allowing learners to build creativity into their daily decisions and apply this creativity in industries, teams, and roles.

This course can address the creativity gap positively, which shows that creativity is not only aimed at artists. This is the skill that leaders can develop to drive business growth and driving ambiguity through experiments and data.

“Everyone, regardless of age or career, can enhance their creativity,” said Jerry Wind, a course lecturer and professor emeritus of Professor Lauder. “This course can help people across the industry systematically enhance their creativity and apply it in meaningful, measurable ways.”

Designed for the creativity of working professionals, business and other disciplines across departments, the blend of nine modules of neuroscience, psychology and AI-driven tools. It is rooted in experiential learning, guiding learners to design and run their own creative experiments so they can immediately apply what they have learned. Learners will also explore reliable creative methods used by leaders like Tesla, Netflix, Google, and more.

The course has a strong perspective from some of today’s most visionary thinkers and manufacturers, including:

  • Tommy Hilfiger – Iconic Brand Creation
  • Steve Rad (NASA) – About crowdsourcing innovation
  • Ben Nelson (Minerva University) – About Challenging Regular Education
  • Kristen Cox (Balletx) – Creativity through exercise

These guest experts (and more than 60 others from a wide range of disciplines) bring creativity to life through real-world stories and cutting-edge practices.
