New York Parker Hyatt Review

If you are ready to use (or earn) points to stay in a truly luxurious New York hotel, not just a place to sleep, then I can serve you.

Park Hyatt is located at the highest point of pecking order when heading towards New York City’s points-friendly hotel.

The hotel first opened in 2014, just a few blocks from Central Park to the north, directly opposite Carnegie Hall. I’ve been a big fan since it opened. And, while I can’t access me every time I’m in the city, at least every few years I try to save points on special accommodation when I have time to really enjoy the 25th floor indoor pool, heated bathroom floors, super spacious rooms, super spacious rooms and a great Hyatt Globalist global reward.

If you dream of booking 221 rooms at Hyatt Regency New York Park (including 93 suites!), this is what it feels like to stay at this flagship Hyatt Regency.

Hyatt Regency Parker New York

The Hyatt Regency New York Park is located in Midtown Manhattan, on 57th Street between Sixth and Seventh Streets. This means that Central Park is less than a 5-minute walk away and about 10-15 minutes walk to the theater area near Times Square.

As you enter the hotel on 57th Street, you’ll walk into a ground area filled with staff, full of light, marble, reflections and a smooth palette that may be a little disorientated at first, but it’s also cool. The entire space is just to get you out of the hustle and bustle of the city, into the elevator, and take you into the true heart of the hotel.

The outstanding features of Hyatt Regency New York Park

As mentioned earlier, Hyatt Regency New York Park is a special property.

One thing that makes it unique is the 65-foot saltwater ring pool, which bathes in natural light thanks to its floor-to-ceiling windows on the 25th floor. There is a lifeguard on duty and you can even hear the music underwater from Carnegie Hall. Anyway, this is really awesome.

In addition to the swimming pool, there is an oversized hot tub and a steam room. I’m the fool who turns on the bubbles, gets into the hot tub and absorbs it all. This is the perfect place to remind yourself how lucky you are when you live on a schedule, when you can book a hotel in New York City.

The atmosphere of Hyatt Regency New York Park

It may not be surprising that the atmosphere of Hyatt Regency New York Park is usually one of the understated elegance. On nearby tables, commercial deals may be reached, celebrating drinks a day later in town and some once-in-a-lifetime trips are ongoing.

It’s not a particularly tedious atmosphere, I never felt out of place with the kids, but it’s a solid upscale hotel.

Rooms at Hyatt Regency New York Park

I love the rooms at Hyatt Regency New York Park. They are big, with great bathrooms, twice-daily housekeeping and fluffy white bedding exudes luxury. But this is my first time living in a one-bedroom terrace suite, which is actually taking things to the next level with jaw-dropping outdoor spaces.

It’s a suite, and a browse both the standard rooms and the largest hotel suite in New York I’ve ever seen.

1 bedroom terrace suite

Size close to 1,000 square feet, this feature suite features a full living room with sofas and chairs and a separate table for work.

While I haven’t seen this exact kit available for booking with the World of Hyatt Point, I’ve seen one bedroom premium kit available from 70,000 Hyatt Points, which is basically the same as this suite… there is no outdoor patio area.

Speaking of the outdoor patio area, it is breathtaking and suitable for having some evening cocktails with friends outside next to your own private fire pit.

Manhattan Suite

But if you think That’s it The next level (and it is), wait until you look at the Manhattan Suites inside the Hyatt Regency Manhattan Park in New York, and they let me visit.

This is what they describe as a family of families (but maybe only if your house is real something).

This is a 2,000 square foot suite with a huge living room, the largest TV I’ve seen outside of a commercial space, a dining table for eight people, a full kitchen, huge windows, a separate bedroom – and so on.

Located on the top floor of the hotel, this Manhattan suite is essentially winged from everyone else, with the exception of the two Central Park balcony suites, you can connect to the Manhattan suite on a 3500 square foot three-bedroom corner suite. Yes, they told me that (lucky) families actually booked that way.

Standard royal family

These suites will be great if you book these suites, but don’t worry if you’re only on the market “only” standard rooms “only”. This is where I live most of the time at Hyatt Regency New York Park and it’s also excellent.

These rooms are 500-625 square feet in size, about twice as many other standard rooms in the city. They also offer rain showers and marble bathtubs, as well as those heated bathroom floors that I like.

You will enjoy Le Labo bathroom facilities, an in-room Nespresso coffee machine and New York Park Hyatt Service, which include the above twice daily services.

Food and drinks at Hyatt Regency New York Park

Because of hotels like Park Hyatt, New York, I work hard almost every year to demand the status of Hyatt globalism.

Hyatt Globalists live every day at Hyatt Properties and sometimes even work through room service. That’s true at Hyatt Regency Parker, New York.

If you visit the lobster scramble ($38) on the menu, I highly recommend starting your day. Granola ($16) is also a good choice, as is fresh orange juice ($12).

While this is not something I usually order, what surprised me shortly after arriving at the hotel was…if that was the dim sum in your room, then you know it was definitely on the menu here and it was a bit of ncade.

Living room restaurant and bar

If you don’t want to eat in your room, the Hyatt Regency New York Park also has a restaurant called the “Living Room” that is open for breakfast, lunch, dinner and cocktails.

In the living room, I really enjoyed the fluffy pancakes for breakfast ($28) and lobster pasta ($52) for dinner. Both were really wonderful dishes on their own, and the service, especially the evening I had pasta at the bar, was helpful, warm and top-notch.

Facilities at Hyatt Regency New York Park

When I made the indoor saltwater pool the top amenities at Hyatt Regency New York Park, it was far from the only on-site amenities.

Spa Nalai

If you want to pamper yourself while living in Park Hyatt in New York, you can book a massage or treatment in Spa Nalai.

Recently, the spa facilities here have been refreshed and look as great as my signature 60 minutes of massage. The treatment here costs $125 for the back, neck and shoulder massage, and a 90-minute Nalai signature massage up to $350. Please note that the spa is only open from Wednesday to Sunday, so plan accordingly if you want to make a reservation during your stay.

Accessibility of Hyatt Regency New York Park

The Hyatt Regency New York Park seems to be a very easy-to-get hotel. It features accessible rooms, can be booked online (with or without spots), and features a 32-inch wide wheelchair-friendly doorway, rolling rain shower, emergency strobe lights and strobe smoke detectors.

The hotel’s swimming pool has chair elevators, and there are plenty of elevators and a smooth surface around the hotel.

Actually, the only standard room for four people you can book at the point is actually an accessible room with two double beds. In other words, if you are looking for hotels that can be accessed in New York City, this is a great choice.

Checkout

When I was designing Park Hyatt, I thought of pinched moments.

The views, the pool, a luxurious bathroom with heated floors, an indulgent menu and the fact that you can book all of them with Hyatt Point World is still very special.

I hope to be lucky enough to continue visiting this flagship property regularly, while in New York City, the stars (and index) at the time remained consistent for the years to come.
