First look: LXR Hotels and Resorts from Hilton Saxophone

City of Light is home to hotels, and your perspective can help you save some euros from repairable budget accommodation to luxury digging.
The latest contestants on the scene are offered by Hilton’s premium LXR hotel and resort brands and are under the radar of 118 rooms in Paris’ sleepy seventh Arnondissement.
Sax Paris, LXR Hotels and Resorts opened in late May, and TPG appeared there after Bastille Day, with spontaneous accommodation on the city’s left bank. Here is the latest points hotel in Paris and how to make the most of everything you need to know about it.
First impression
The ever-changing cast of foreigners – some fashion brands have bags in bags, others send orders to invisible assistants through their phones, appearing to play a background role before the telephone exchange before 1899, which has recently transformed into Saxophone. If you can tear secret eyes off their antics, you might find Les Invalides’ golden domes one of the wide boulevards that emanate from the hotel, while the spire of Eiffel Tower follows the other direction along the Leaf Street.

The brightly dressed doorman goes out of his way to match the right party with a right Mercedes sedan or help the latest arrival of the big chunk of the wheels that take it to and from months of sea sailing to the relatively small reception area.

When you complete the check-in, one of the registration room agents will surely praise your high school French, then they will jump out from behind the stand-up table and escort you to your room in person, pointing out the alfresco the Garden Restaurant (and the Plunge Pool) through the back door or the stuffy Chandelier, the lountors packed in the streets, sitting on the streets, and climbing up the streets.

This is not one of the city’s great aristocratic hotels, but it feels like a wealthy residential building that just happened to be calling home when you visited Paris.
Room
For a hotel with a small number of rooms, Saxophone actually has a lot of room categories – I count 18 on the booking page – which can make it difficult for you to determine exactly what you are getting. However, there are only Kings and Queens in the sax category that starts, which are the least points, so most guests will end up trying to book.

Thanks to my Hilton Honor Diamond Status, I upgraded from Sax Queen Room to a luxurious room with a size of 280 square feet, and only 250 square feet. Although small, it is still spacious by Parisian standards and is effectively arranged.

The anchoring space is a magnificent king-size bed dressed in crisp, white, monogram linen, with marble-topped nightstands on both sides.

It’s not a headboard, but a window looking into the bathroom (albeit with electronic privacy blinds).

On the other side of the room, a mirrored door hides the closet, giving the space a more spacious feel while also reflecting the natural light overlooking the window walls of the hotel courtyard.

The room also holds a marble breakfast table with two chairs – one wood and another leather – providing a decent work area. Next, install the 55-inch flat-screen HD TV on the floor rack. This rough wooden minibar enjoys a variety of specialty snacks such as flavors and candy in Avantgarde Spirits Company’s La Grande Epicerie and bottled cocktails.

On one side of the short hallway of the front door is a water closet with an automatic toilet.

The other is the main bathroom, dressed in gorgeous white marble with deep black veins and double sinks carved in dark marble. One of the quirks is that the hot water pipe seems to penetrate the brass fixture hanging from the towel – perhaps a clever way to warm the linen, but otherwise it will touch the smell, so attentionWoolen cloth

Contemporary, but nodding in Art Deco and 1960s style, if it’s a little small at this price point, the room feels very stylish and has a nice layout.

Have a meal
There are several dining options at the hotel.
Those looking for a swing scene should head straight to Kinugawa, a Japanese fusion restaurant in Dubai, Morocco and St. Barts, and on the top floor there is a bunch of hosts and hosts to escort you to your table. The people around the central bar and Omakase counters are most active, but the views of the Eiffel Tower are the most coveted. However, all have plush pink velvet chairs and banquets, and have a basin or two or two drops of water.

There are tables on the table outside, and there is a floor through a spiral staircase (although the area is not ready for guests to prepare). Just a mind, which is often where smokers come together, so your panoramic view may have tobacco leaves.

Even by Parisian standards, the menu is expensive, with savory rice, salmon, snow crab and avocado ($35); Katsu Duck Cress salad ($30.50); Wagyu burgers with Yuzu Kosho Aioli ($47); and a variety of sushi rolls and sashimi, including super spicy tuna ($25) and individual sweet crabs ($8).

Kinugawa is also a place for breakfast every day from 7-10:30 am. It is included as part of my Hilton Diamond Benefit and offers plenty of pastries, fruit, cold cuts, juices, and even taittinger champagne, plus a variety of à la carte dishes such as avocado toast, brioche French toast and order eggs.

Although it wasn’t completely open when we were there, the Galerie was a stuffy space, opposite the Saxophone with red velvet banquets and slipper chairs, mirrored walls and ceilings, and the peculiar Baccarat Crystal Chandeliers, all dyed red by street-facing windows.

Location and logistics
Paris Saxony, LXR Hotel and Resort is located on the 7th Saxony Avenue in Paris. The surrounding area is the city’s relatively quiet, upscale, residential area, although the hotel is only a short walk from tourist attractions such as the Eiffel Tower and Les Invalides. There are many subway and bus stops nearby, so go to the city to the city by public transportation.
Arriving at the hotel from Paris-Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG) is relatively quick and cheap, which is relatively fast.

Its cost
LXR Hotels and Resorts Saxophone starts at about $780 or 110,000 Hilton Honors Points per night and offers plenty of rewards to offer rooms in the Queen Saxophone and King Saxophone category.
This is equivalent to 0.71 cents per point, slightly higher than TPG’s August 2025 valuation. Also, considering that Hilton often receives one of the points sales of 100% bonuses, you can buy points for 0.5 cents per piece, so 110,000 of them will cost you $550, which may save you money.
The room I was upgraded was King Luxury and was about $840 per night.
When booking Paris, LXR hotels and resorts, try one of a credit card that earns the most points for the Hilton Hotel, or use an elite identity for automatic Hilton Honors Honors for value-added benefits. These include:
- Hilton Honors American ExpressSupasspass® Card: The ability to upgrade to Diamond status at the Hilton Hotel, the ability to qualify for purchases, the automatic gold elite status and the ability to upgrade to Diamond status at the end of the next calendar year, earning 12 points per year on eligible purchases.
- Hilton Honors American Express Business Card: The ability to upgrade to Diamond status at the Hilton Hotel, the ability to qualify for purchases, the automatic gold elite status and the ability to upgrade to Diamond status at the end of the next calendar year, earning 12 points per year on eligible purchases.
- Hilton Honors American Express Card: Earn 7 points per dollar on the Eligible Purchase and Automatic Silver Elite Identity at the Hilton Hotel (upgrade to gold at the end of the next calendar year when you spend $20,000 in the calendar year on eligible Purchase Year).
- Hilton Honors American Express Aspire Card: Earn 14 points for every dollar you’re eligible for purchases for Hilton Hotels and Auto Diamond Elite.
Information on the Hilton Aspire Card has been collected independently by Points Guy. The card details on this page have not been reviewed or provided by the card issuer.
Accessibility
Common areas of the hotel, including lobby and restaurants, can be paired with wheelchairs, although in some cases the use of elevators is required, which are in small respects.
The hotel has wheelchair access rooms in the King Sax and Kings Reputation categories, and its features include more floor space, easy wheelchair navigation, rolling showers and toilets. As always, call the hotel directly to make sure you can book accommodations that meet your specific needs.
Bottom line
In the exquisite 7th Arndisement of Sax Paris, LXR Hotels & Resorts, the busiest tourist attraction (but not far away) of the left bank, the exquisite backdrop was removed for a relaxing stay in the French capital. This is a welcome alternative to sometimes luxury hotels in the city. More importantly, it can be booked using Hilton Honors Points, although the price is high. Still, if you have spare points, they can save you a lot of money on the Parisian resort and open up sometimes overlooked corners of the city for you to explore.
