How “Bob’s Sports” turned into golf fooled the YouTube Empire

That’s it, I found myself thinking: I want those YouTubers’ lives.

Look, I was a millennial who grew up in the early stages of the internet – the iPhone was still a novelty in high school – and sometimes I feel the generational gap spans Generation Z and is even more extreme. Our digital world is just Different, Of course.

Polls show that young people want to be influencers, a job that doesn’t exist in my life. Actually, it was an urge I didn’t fully understand until I stumbled upon the channel of Bob’s movement. I understand now. Because, as a man in his 30s, I can say for sure that there is no slight shame, I want those YouTubers’ lives.

If I could sum up the role of the channel in a concise way, I would choose something like this: Here are three guys (with some producers) playing golf, wandering around, playing golf, playing golf and messing around, traveling a lot of food around the world, did I mention chaos and playing golf? Quoting the words of our time: My dream date, cute.

Along the way, this has become a lucrative career – over 1 million YouTube subscribers, major sponsors, gathering groups with famous athletes and life as an associate society celebrity, mostly guys in my crowd.

Bob, who was the same name behind the sports channel, told Mashable in an interview with Zoom, saying, “We never want to lose that crazy feeling.” “Because, to this day, it’s hard to get around our heads – see [the channel] Grow and see it get bigger, go to the golf course and see how many fans come [to us]. ”

Robby – aka Bob, aka Bobby Fairways, aka the d Man or da – is the band leader of the main trio, surrounded by Joseph DeMare (Joseph Demare) (aka Joey Coldcuts), aka Cutsy, aka D Man or da (do not ask) – and Nick stubbe, nick stubbe, aka fat Pererez, aka Fat Perez, fp fp. Watching the video is like a silent participant in a partner trip – laughing at a man in his 30s with golf inside. Often, every video has a team playing golf in some kind of challenge. It could be a score, a win or a wasteful showdown, food to eat, lots of drinks or a combination of these goals. Golf is important – you take root for these guys – but it’s more about the band’s comedy.

It might feel like a partner journey, because everyone involved is – or indeed a normal person. Berger and Demare worked for four seasons in Beverly Hills a few years ago. Stubbe is a table jockey who performs in an accountant. Now, even if you are not a golf fan, you can recognize Berger from his funny Tiktok account. He’s been trying to be a creator for a while, but that’s playing golf with the cold and later FP, which really makes things soar.

A few years ago, Berger was a part-time comedian who would play sports events to ridicule professionals (playful). Now, Golf Magazine writes about his every move.

“It feels like these little moments,” Perez told Mashable. “It’s like step by step, like: That’s wild,,,,, That’s wild,,,,, This is crazy, how do we here? ”

They all talked about going through moments like this, but maybe it was just a match against the popular Pro Max Homa. The video has received over 3 million views, which is an amazing, fun and suspenseful golf game. This also shows that the golf world regards BDS as legitimate.

The rising trend lifts all the boats, not like the BDS crew is the increasingly popular YouTube golf creator. For example, frequent collaborators such as Grant Horvat and Bryan Bros are very popular. Overall, YouTube Golf itself has become a genre – it’s the growth of golf’s popularity online and others – and has led to creators being invited to PGA Tour and Liv Golf Gold events.

However, the difference between BD is that they are really fun to play the best sports known to humans. To see such a rapid popularity and to see their lives completely change – it makes sense for the three to say they expect to continue doing more. The late nights at Airbnbs usually end with producers coming up with increasingly eccentric ideas.
