What do you know about chasing recommendation bonuses
There are other things to note when you quote a chase card.
You don’t have to have a card to recommend it
You can recommend your friends to cards you don’t hold. For example, I only have the preferred choice for sapphires, but my recommendation link also mentions that I will win a bonus for those who get sapphire reserves.

You don’t necessarily have to be friends with your referral partner. Just make sure they follow the appropriate steps to approve through your personalized link.
Make sure your friends get the best welcome quote
It is important to note that if your friend applies through the referral link, you may not receive the highest available welcome bonus.
Not everyone will see the same bonus, so be a good friend and make sure the person you mention knows where they can find the best welcome bonus for you.

For example, Chase Sapphire’s first choice Currently, 75,000 bonus points are currently available after spending $5,000 in the first three months of account opening. You will need to check the quotes that appear through the referral link to make sure they get the best deal.
Your bonus may take a while to arrive
It may take up to eight weeks to see the reward points, miles or cashback posted to your account from the referrer.
You may have to pay tax on your recommendation bonus
Finally, remember that some banks have sent 1,099 vehicles for recommendation bonuses in the past.
Remember that your referral bonus may be considered income, especially if you earn the maximum amount with a referral bonus. If you are unsure about the tax on the referral bonus, talk to a tax expert.

Bottom line
Recommended bonuses are a great way to earn bonus points and miles without making additional purchases.
The most important factor to remember is to make sure your friends apply through your personalized links. Otherwise, you won’t receive a referral bonus.
