Stuck in your executive job search? Hit the dead end? Your biggest advantage is not on the work board – it’s over! The #short reveals a secret cyber policy that executives use to unlock hidden opportunities, bypass competition and play the next important role.

Honestly, Clicking the “Apply Button” won’t win the execution of the search. They won victory in conversations, private emails, warm introductions, and an invisible trust economy that provides the motivation for C-Suite to recruit behind the scenes. Over the years, I have worked with thousands of professionals and executives through different searches and transitions, when it comes to senior roles (CEO, CFO, COO, COO, CTO, and beyond)The Internet is everything.

But not just any type of network. It should be clear that you are not asking for favors; you are not begging for an interview. you Build reputation, visibility, and opportunity by appearing like a peer rather than a candidate. So I’m now starting a series about executing the network and helping you develop different strategies.

The first one is obvious: it is from Reconnect with former strategic colleagues. Start with people you already know and people who know your values, such as former bosses, board members, direct reports, suppliers, peers. These relationships are usually dormant, but they have huge opportunities.

You can use a very simple message with “Hey [whatever their first name is]or “hey”, if you like, I’ve been thinking about our time working together [whatever the firm was] Want to catch up. I will also value your point of view when I think about the next chapter. ” Promote them and not your position.

I have more things available on Jobsearch.com/community. Come to the website. I have free information about the homepage. More importantly, let me guide you. Become a higher-level insider so we can spend more time together and I can help you in your next role.
