Glowing inflatable canyon squeezed inside Prahran Square in Melbourne – Huge

Although it appears that thousands of tons of boulders have fallen into Melbourne’s Praslin Square, the huge rocks are actually as light as the air. Arts and Technology Studio Eness (formerly) has installed the inflatable “Iwagumi Air Scape” in the park, creating an immersive canyon for visitors to wander.
While there are 16 huge stones with granite-like textures during the day, at night they glow in otherworldly pink and yellow, creating a surreal landscape that illuminates the urban environment. The work is accompanied by audio from flora and fauna, so the soft inflatable air and the sound of the mountains wrap them in a natural embrace as the audience squeezes through dangerous passes between real boulders.
Outdoor installation will be available to other locations on August 17. Keep up with it and stop on Ens’ Instagram.
