Lelo Sona 3 Cruise Review: Dirty Update

One of mine Regarding the sex toy industry and the technology industry, there is a a lot of Iteration. New versions of what were already great products arrive every few years, and you no longer want to know the latest prices are brought out of the table at a higher price. From women’s agents and wiebers to ladies, many sex toy brands feel intimate about it.

Lelo’s new Sona 3 Cruise also fell into this camp, even though its predecessor arrived five years ago. This vibrator won’t bring much new to the table. For anyone who likes the Sona series and thinks their existing models have somehow failed, the battery is working, or it doesn’t charge properly – the Sona 3 Cruise is a natural upgrade. Alternatively, you can save cash and stick with the older, proven Sona 2 cruise.

Like its predecessor, the Sona 3 Parade is made of body-safe silicone and ABS plastic. Its touch is very smooth and when paired with a water-based lubricant it slides on any area you stimulate. Fun fact: The Sona series may be designed with clitoris in mind, but it will also feel great if you like nipple stimulation.

When the full charge takes about two hours, the Sona 3 can provide two hours of running time. This is consistent with most Lelo products. Again, the device is 100% waterproof and has the company’s cruise control (named!), so the motor doesn’t slow down when you push the vibrator down to your body in the vibrator close to climax, but it actually provides some boost.

The only “big” difference to the Sona 3 cruise is in the vibration settings. There were 8 original Sona Cruise, 12 Sona 2 Cruise, and 16 Sona 3 Cruise Bumps. I’m not nostradamus, but if Lelo releases the Sona 4 Cruise, I’m willing to bet it will have 20 vibration settings. If it’s not going bankrupt, don’t fix it – I know, but can shake something a little bit. There doesn’t seem to be much guaranteed for a brand new product here.

Oh, the Sona 3 is controlled by the app, which is standard feature on most Lelo products today and can be played for long distances. If you use the app alone, not only can you select strength and pattern on your phone, but you can also adjust the intensity by rotating the phone. If you want to dig deep into Advanced Mode, you can take over the Sona 3 takeover by choosing one of the following options: Out of control or Finish me. As a record, out of control is just that. It bounces with intensity and pattern, and how anyone can find this chaotic pleasure, which is beyond me.

SONA 3 debuted what Lelo calls Smoothrise technology, aiming to create a smooth transition between intensity levels. I’ve always felt that older Sona Cruise products move seamlessly from one strength to the next, so I’m not sure what the latest generation is doing differently. Annoyingly, the charger for the vibrator is still proprietary. Is it difficult to add a USB-C port?

I’ve always loved the Lelo Sona series. I can’t say I’m disappointed with the Sona 3 Cruise, but it didn’t leave me an unforgettable experience. The sound pulse feels great, the extra intensity is great, but I didn’t run around town and recommend this vibrator to everyone I’ve met. Lelo Dot, on the other hand, is another story. I can’t stop talking about that clitoral vibrator; it will ruin everything else I have.

If you are a big fan of the Lelo Sona Cruise series and have been waiting for it to be controlled by the app, Sona 3 is yours. If you feel that older models aren’t intense enough, this is another good reason to buy the Sona 3. But if you already have a Lelo Sona Cruise, whether it’s original or Sona 2, and you like it, there’s no need to upgrade, especially getting the job done. Save your money or invest it in something new and exciting. You know, like Lelo Dot.
