Mohammed Qahtani of Saudi Arabia until she was 6 years old and then struggled with her stutter. On August 2, 2015, he won the world championship for a public speech in Las Vegas, giving a speech entitled “The Power of Speech.”
To win the championship, Catani beat 30,000 participants from 135 countries in six months of competition.
“Your mouth can spit poison, or you can tinker with a broken soul,” he said. “Word can be your power. You can change your life, inspire a country, and make the world a better place.”
As you would expect, he grows up to laugh at his stutter.
As you can imagine, Qahtani is encouraged to believe because of Qahtani’s delay.
“You’re stupid.” Could have said it to him a thousand times.
A few years later, he stood on the stage and won.
What is the excuse you don’t want to live?
Bad education?
racism?
Ageism.
The wrong social class?
Lack of opportunities?
so what?
