Delta Air Lines gift cards are on sale right now, just in time for the holidays.
If you buy a Delta gift card now, you’ll receive great rewards and can even stack it with currently available American Express offers.
Delta Air Lines has a new promotion that helps you get free (or partially free) Uber rides or Uber Eats orders. You can get a $25 Uber voucher as a bonus just by purchasing at least $300 worth of Delta gift cards.
Currently, you can also enjoy 5x Delta SkyMiles discount when purchasing Delta gift cards, and some American Express cardholders can enjoy this discount. I’m not a target, but some of my colleagues are.
This is a great deal, buy $300 in gift cards and get 1,800 SkyMiles in addition to a $25 Uber gift card. You have until December 14th to take advantage of the Amex offer.

How to use: You can only use Delta gift cards to purchase tickets, including taxes, fees and surcharges. You cannot use them for in-flight purchases, premium seats or fare upgrades.

You’ll receive an Uber coupon code in a separate email from Delta Gift Card, and you can use it on Uber and Uber Eats, up to a maximum value.
As you can see in the previous offer below, after I purchased the card and entered my personal information, I received a notification that my $300 Delta gift card and $25 Uber voucher were being processed.
Maximize your purchase
In addition to Uber gift cards, remember to use a credit card that earns points or miles. Obviously, if you have an offer on one of your American Express cards, use that card.

Unfortunately, card purchases don’t count toward airline purchases, so you don’t earn bonus miles on purchases.

This is a pretty good deal because you basically get around 8% back on a $300 purchase on Delta. With this limited-time offer from Delta and Uber, you can get a $25 Uber credit when you purchase $300 (or more) of Delta gift cards.
I find these gift cards fairly easy to use since I fly Delta frequently. Please make sure you don’t forget the email confirmation. I recommend putting it in an “Important” folder or saving the details in a Word or Google Doc.
