Are you? Do outdoor adventurers want to turn your bored campground into a well-lit ground? The Jackery Explorer 1000 V2 is priced at $449, and it’s about $350 under the price tag, which is a supercharged price for a somewhat costly product.

For adventurers, they are a great choice for adventurers who don’t want to be too far away from the device, they can hide in a closet and act as a backup power supply in case of interruptions or other emergencies. They come with various connections, in this case, three AC outlets, two USB-C and one USB-A, and DC 12V car outlets just in case.
The feature set of the discounted Jackery Explorer 1000 V2 is the same as the Plus version reviewed by cable writer Simon Hill. Most notably, the Plus version can be expanded with other battery packs, while the discounted V2 is stuck at 1000Wh. The Plus also has a slightly higher output power compared to the V2’s 2,200W, so make sure to take that into account if you’re planning on actually plugging the battery into its pace.
However, there are some advantages over the more expensive models. Apart from the lower price of the same capacity, the Explorer 1000 V2 is lighter and more portable than the Plus Plus parts, making it easier for you to stuff your truck into your truck for a weekend. It also charges slightly higher speeds from walls or cars, but may not be enough to make a huge impact in your life. Both models support Jackery’s app, which tracks capacity and charges while in use, and manages battery and energy settings.
While I don’t have capacity tests for the 1,000Wh version, the larger 2,000Wh Plus model is able to supply portable air conditioners for nearly seven hours, so for this smaller model you should be about halfway. It is also compatible with Jackery’s solar panels if you want to place it on your trip.
While you can buy the base unit separately for $449, there are discounts on the battery bundle, such as the $749 bundle that includes a pair of 100W solar panels, or a $499 bundle with a convenient carry case. Both are reliable deals, and although there are regular discounts on Jackry devices, this discount may not last long.
