“First Descendants” captured by influencers generated using AI and deep photographers in Tiktok ads

Free Game The first descendant Apparently it’s under fire for influencers using fake AI generation in their Tiktok ads and at least one real streaming without knowledge or consent. Now, developers claim this is the result of “some irregularities” found in call operations for user-created content.
issued Maplestory Last year, Nexon The first descendant It is a third-person loot shooting game where players fight alien invaders. Like many other online multiplayer games Fortnite and League of Legends,,,,, The first descendant There are “seasons” that last for several months, adding new content to the game. Season 3: Breakthrough begins in August, Nexon reportedly releases video to The first descendantThe official Tiktok account promotes the event.

However, players quickly noticed issues with these ads. While Tiktok videos seem to contain clips of promotional streaming The first descendantseveral factors suggest that they are actually generated using AI. Red flags include the sound of the ribbons on the surface that sound like false sounds, their unreal scripts, and their weird mouth and head movements. While viewers may not answer these telling people immediately when scrolling a casual Tiktok feed, it quickly becomes obvious once you pay more attention to the editing.
Reddit user u/ihardlytrihard compiled several ads in a post by R/TheFirstDescendant subreddit, claiming that their Tiktok showed them four videos in 15 minutes for the page on your page.
“It’s really a tooth TFD u/ihardlytrihard wrote that content creators want to use AI for them rather than actual content creators. ”
What’s even more shocking is that at least one The first descendantWithout his consent, Tiktok ads appear to use portraits of real content creators. In the first clip of the U/ihardlytrihard assembly, you can see the apparently deep track of the horror game player Danielthedemon. The first descendant And promote the game. However, Danielthedemon has since said he has nothing to do with games or ads.
“I have no affiliation and no contract The first descendant,” Danielthedemon commented on “Tiktok Videos for Central Central.” “They stole my face/reaction from my most viral videos and changed my mouth and my voice with AI, not my voice. I don’t agree to be used…”
Mixable light speed
Danielthedemon’s most popular Tiktok video has 8.3 million views guest. The first offspring“The ad seems to have taken Danielthedemon’s video, flipped, changed his mouth movements and text with AI, and then added footage of their completely different game to make it look as if it was promoting it.

“It’s honestly embarrassing, I really believe these ads actually hurt the game because maybe half of the people who are interested in checking will see this and think it’s not a fucking opportunity.”
U/Detpowell commented: “I don’t know how the game recommends this game to others at this point without completely destroying my credibility in the process.”
The first descendant Developers respond to AI advertising controversy
On Monday, Nexon issued a statement about the commotion. Although it doesn’t directly address the specific situation of Danielthedemon, the developers did explain that it did not create the controversial ad itself. Instead, these videos are created by third parties and submitted to them.
“As part of our marketing campaign [The First Descendant] Season 3: Breakthrough, We recently launched a Creative Challenge Program for Tiktok Creators that allows creators to voluntarily submit their content as advertising material,” Nexon wrote in the announcement. “All submitted videos are verified through Tiktok’s system to check for copyright violations before being approved as advertising content.
“However, we have realized that the situation surrounding certain submissions of videos seems inappropriate. So we are conducting a thorough joint investigation with Tiktok to determine the facts.”
Tiktok’s Creative Challenge program enables brands to post call sales for ads created by users. Users who have Tiktok approved as part of the program can then create videos according to the brand’s guidelines and if they use ads, they will receive a commission on their content. Unfortunately, it seems that Tiktok’s review process may require rework.
Even so, not all blame can be attributed to Tiktok’s feet. Judging from Nexon’s statement, developers seem to have given up censoring tiktok’s ads altogether, or simply failing to capture AI-generated content in their own checks. Both options are good. Especially with this The first descendant The AI usage of ADS seems to be quite obvious, and there is an additional scrutiny during Nexon’s ad approval process, which is not wrong.
Nexon noted that its review of the situation is longer than expected and it will provide further updates when appropriate. In any case, developers may be more cautious about approving crowdsourcing ads in the future.
