Mickalene Thomas accused of harassment by Racquel Chevremont

In a legal filing last week, artist Mickalene Thomas faced charges that she cultivated a “abuse work environment” and brought undeserved money by her former romantic partner, Racquel Chevremont.

In addition, Thomas “repeated and improper pressure on Ms. Chevrolet to restore their romantic relationship and eventually terminate Ms. Chevrolet’s work,” the subpoena said. “The subpoena provided no specific details.
Chevrolet said in the subpoena that she was seeking $10 million from Thomas and her studio.
Representatives of Chevremont and Thomas did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
