Art dealer Inigo Philbrick, who has been jailed for cheating other dealers and investors for millions of dollars, talks with the BBC to get the upcoming documentary.
In 2022, Philbrick was sentenced to seven years in a U.S. prison, with two years of supervised release, and confiscated $86 million and two paintings for wire fraud and identity theft. He was released in early 2024 and the sentence was less than half.

But a small number of me think: What about all the good things?”
When asked about the $86 million he received, Philbrick reportedly claimed he didn’t have it and that he didn’t know where the money was.
The documentary delves into Philbrick’s biography. He grew up in Connecticut, the son of a former museum director, a Harvard-educated writer and artist, and later interned at the White Cube Gallery in London.
The BBC also has his wife, Made in Chelsea Socialite Victoria Baker – Harber. Before his conviction, Philbrick fled Britain and hid with Baker-Harber of Vanuatu on the Pacific Island. He was later arrested by the FBI. They now have two children.
Philbrick said in the documentary that he still has “ambitious to go back to doing what I’m doing. I’m a great art dealer.”
