How to follow up after the interview
There is a story, and then there is a story!
This topic is when and how to follow up.
It is correct to send a thank you letter immediately after the interview, and it is correct. But, for me, the follow-up review does start when the interview you are going to wrap it up, and they say “any final question?” Or, you know the interview is coming to an end, your 1 question must be: “When do you expect to complete this round of interviews?” It can always be delayed, but you will understand their schedule.
“You are the first person and have no one else arranged with us.”
“I understand, but what do you expect to follow in this round?”
Or they might say, “We have 3 or 4 more people to arrange. We should finish before the end of next week.”
“Great. Do you mind if I contact you after that?”
“No, no problem.”
“Great!”
After the interview, please thank you for your attention and thank them for taking the time to talk to you. Don’t just send it to one person. Send it to everyone you meet. Customization for everyone is slightly different. Email it, don’t let us mail it. Don’t go to your car, write it out and send it back to their reception desk. It looks tacky.
My advice is to get a card from everyone you meet at the end. If they do not have a card, please call the reception, call the main number and Indicates that you want to get an email address for the person you interviewed. I’m sure you’ll be able to get it. If not, you can get it from LinkedIn or do a Google search. It’s no big deal.
As each date approaches, give you every one, you hear nothing, I know the conference is by sending articles to stay in touch, but the idea like this is because she comes from so many managers who say to me, “Did they send me for me? I don’t understand that.” It becomes their contradiction. This is obviously not what you want to do.
You want to meet the opinions we expect to hear (if you are a recruiter, please contact the recruiter; if your cup works directly with the company), if the recruiter is in contact. Maybe it’s single in the company, or he or she doesn’t know yet. Give it a day and contact the company directly.
When everything is said, the message you might be able to cause is: “Hi! When we meet, you say your interview will be completed now. I heard nothing. I heard nothing.
Wait for them to call back; if they don’t, it’s a sign of rejection because if they’re interested, try to keep warm as the process expands.
Again, from a process perspective, find out the schedule in the interview, send a thank you letter to everyone you meet, from there, follow up, not in the day, but just sign in the day after they tell you the interview cycle.
“Hi! I just want to see where you stand in the interview with a delay?” Then wait for them to call or not. All the time, you will continue to interview so that you do not depend on this company to find a job.
