Butter Chicken Recipe
- Place the chicken in a large bowl. Drizzle with vegetable oil.


- Sprinkle the curry powder on top and throw it onto the chicken cubes. Set aside.


- Melt 2 tablespoons butter in a Dutch oven or large skillet over medium-low heat. Add the chopped onions and cook until about 10 minutes starts to caramel.


- Add the garlic and cook for 1 minute.


- Add salt, cayenne pepper, gram puree, cinnamon and chili powder and cook, stirring constantly, stirring for another 1 minute.


- Add butter and cook until melted.


- Stir the chopped tomatoes and add the cream. Cook on low heat.


- Add the chicken to the sauce, cover the pot for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.


- After 30 minutes of cooking, check a piece of chicken to make sure it is cooked and no longer pink inside.


- On a bed of basmati rice with cilantro or parsley.
