American Airlines plans to invest in large lounges in Charlotte

American Airlines plans to significantly improve lounge game in its second explosive hub.
The airline announced plans on Thursday to bring its flagship lounge, its best lounge concept, to Charlotte Douglas International Airport (CLT). The Americans also said that this would increase the footprint of the airport’s existing Admiral Club.
These should be greatly changed for American flyers that often pass CLT.

The carrier’s two standard Charlotte lounges have been regularly filled with capacity.
The Fort Worth, Texas, airline said Thursday that Americans did not disclose the exact timing or construction plans for the new post—the Fort Worth, Texas, airline said Thursday that those times will be shared later.

“As an airline, we are committed to meeting the needs of our customers and we are excited to continue investing in CLT’s lounges,” Chief Customer Officer of the U.S. said in a statement to announce the announcement. “These improvements will provide our flagship® customers with advanced experiences and more space in our Admirals Club® lounges.”
