What does a vegetable ooze roll need

Here’s everything you need to make your own vegetarian eggs at home.

  • Egg wrapping paper: These wrappers can be found in the refrigerated areas of the grocery store, usually near tofu. Make sure to get larger egg wrappers instead of smaller wonton wrappers.

How to wrap homemade egg rolls

Rolling egg rolls can feel like a daunting step, but it’s really easy and anyone can do it in the kitchen at home.

  1. Before you start, make sure to fill any extra moisture in the filler. Moist fillings can lead to moist egg rolls. It can also work best if filled and cooled.
  2. Place the egg roll in a corner, pointing at you, and add about 1/4 cup of the filling in the center.
  3. Gently wet the edges of the egg roll wrapper with water with your fingers. Just rub it in water and run along the edge of the egg roll wrapper.
  4. Fold the face-to-face corners over the filling. Then fold on the sides and moisten the edges with water if needed. Finally, it rolls it off you and closes the egg roll.
