I often check my Amex offers to see if I’m positioned as a cashback or bonus when using a qualified US Express card at my favorite retailer. So, I’m glad to see that with this latest round of AMEX offers, you can earn up to 1,200 bonus membership bonus points when you spend $150 or more on Amazon purchases.
You can use this offer up to three times, but it only works for purchases made before October 25, so you need to take quick action to maximize your savings.
A few TPG staff found this AMEX provided a protocol American Express Platinum Card® and American Express® Gold Card.
Other staff using the same card saw an offer of 500 members reward points when spending at least $50. Others don’t have this offer at all, so it’s worth checking if you qualify.
If you use the 1,200-point offer three times, you can earn 3,600 membership reward points when you spend up to $450. According to TPG’s September 2025 valuation, this is equivalent to $72 of other points value. This is a supplement to the points you purchased on Amazon. For example, Amex Gold earns 1 point per dollar on most general purchases. So if you propose this offer and spend $450, you will also receive 450 membership reward points in addition to 1200 bonus points.
You can usually only earn bonuses through Amazon.com and through the Amazon Mobile app, depending on the full terms and conditions of the offer. Additionally, the following purchases are not eligible for bonus points:

- Buy outside of the United States
- Company gift cards and custom designed gift cards purchase
- Prime membership and automatic renewal subscription services
- Purchases made through third parties, such as dealers, delivery services or other intermediaries
Be sure to check all AMEX accounts when you check your eligibility. Offers usually vary by card. Even if you are not targeting this offer, Amazon often offers up to 50% off Amazon when redeeming at least 1 membership reward point.
Considering that Amazon sells almost everything in the sun (and it might also sell the sun if possible), this offer can be easily used if you qualify.
