Stay relevant in a changing world

“You don’t need a weather forecaster to know what the wind is blowing.”
– Bob Dylan, “Underground Country Blues”
The 2020 news about Kodak hasn’t changed their story is the fact that the classic story of the rise and fall of digital photography has been created. The company invented a new technology, but did not accept it. As a result, the company’s slow and painful deaths resulted in thousands of global unemployment.
Some of you may not know Countryside sound New York newspapers, but soundIt is well known as the creator of the alternative model for newspaper publishing. It represents the counterculture of Greenwich Village and its New York, in a spiritual and heart-identity, discovers and reveals the trends of miss, Cognoscenti and literary thought at the time. Norman Mailer, Ezra Pound, EE Cummings, Tom Stoppard and Allen Ginsberg all wrote about it. Jules Pfeiffer, R. Crumb and Matt Groing are both cartoonists.
What happened soundwhich is the same as Kodak’s occurrence and other companies that have made printers, dedicated watches and disk drives. This reminds people of the importance of staying relevant in a changing world.
Can I reapply for a job?
In the business world, we are surrounded by this example. Mattel’s Barbie refused the merger with Bratz. Palm, the original creator of the first personal digital assistant, missed the possibility of this handheld assistant, nothing more than a feature on the phone. The constant occurrence of statements are those that are eliminated.
But the same is true for those who miss out on becoming obsolete without the need to develop or take risks. They stopped paying attention to the weather and fell into an overwhelming downpour.
So, what should you do to stop obsoleteness?
1. Follow trends in your field. Pay attention to the changing storm clouds. There is always a signal on the horizon.
2. Gain the basics through Google, read and watch. There are many websites that occupy the trend in business and technology. Start reading and watching. Listen to the podcast. Pay online or in person and go to college. Learn the basics. Initially, you may be confused about what you read, but it will soon become clear.
3. Connect with people who are doing research, writing articles and pushing envelopes. Ask wise questions from reading, watching and listening.
4. Establish relationships with experts. This doesn’t mean asking someone if you can “choose their brain” as if it’s a sa sore. This is a true Creative Commons request. Don’t expect them all to respond. If you don’t ask, you won’t.
5. Put your learning into practice. Tell them what you are doing now and ask for feedback. The adjunct professor or podcast host you requested will be happy to hear you put their ideas into practice.
6. Adjust and adapt. This is the most important step in the process. As you start experimenting in a new field or effort, you may notice that some of the initial ideas or suggestions you have received may not produce fruit or may have a slight goal. The latest trend is developing? Just like shooting a weapon and realizing that you are firing too high or too low, how do you adjust your eyes to the right target?
7. AI waves are here. Some people don’t understand or are not suitable for having a standalone PC, network PC, Internet or website or e-commerce. Don’t be one of those who are afraid and disdainful. Adapt and learn, or like those people, crushed by waves and drown you.
Changes it must occur
For those younger people, think this doesn’t apply to you, and it’s even more important than those older people. After all, you will have more time and need to adapt more than older workers. There will be more opportunities to bury your head on the beach or look at the horizon and sail to the new land.
Leaders, the people you work with, unless you do something different, your ridicule of who you are in your future. Avoid getting stuck in the gears of the machine and then draw your own route.
Worker, you are your own business chairman and lend your talents to the company that pays. Whether you are an employee or a freelancer, you are responsible for your career, not them. It’s a fool to outsource your professional responsibilities to others. They take care of themselves, not you… right.
The last thing I want to remind you is that some people will see what you are doing, criticize you or make fun of you. I hope you remember the gist of this Mark Twain: “Stay away from those who try to demean ambitions.
Find someone who cultivates your desires and ambitions.
