Editor’s Note: Iberia’s website is not always the most reliable or user-friendly. Bottom line
This is a big deal for Europe, especially for those who like the key points of budget and mileage. Booking less than 13,000 round trips to Europe is almost unheard of, as most airline loyalty programs will only charge twice for one-way flights. Additionally, some even have high cash surcharges attached to reward tickets.
Even if Madrid is not on your bucket list, you can use this deal as a positioning flight to cross the pond at a discounted price. You can then choose to fly from Madrid to another destination with cash or points and miles – Hello, German Christmas market, most likely with a more budget-friendly price.
