5 Reasons Every Sports Fan Need to Chase Sapphire Reserve Team

I love sports, just like I love points and mileage. I’ve actually been wondering why there is no dedicated sports superstitious credit card.
However, I do have a card that might be overlooked: Chase SapphireReserve® (See rates and fees).
Sapphire Reserve is a popular premium travel reward card, but it also offers a unique value proposition for sports fans. If you play one game per year or have a hardcore fan and play each game, this card is arguably the best card for you.
The card costs $795 annually, but sports fans can use credit and benefits from various lifestyles to offset some of them.
Whether you’re a fan of diamonds, fields, hardwoods, ice rinks or tracks, this card should have a place in your wallet. There are five reasons.
Ticket points
this Chatong Sapphire Reserve Until December 31, 2027, each year, StubHub or Viagogo has the highest and highest credit lines of $300, respectively (January is January to June, one is $150, and the other is July to December). Need to be activated.
StubHub and Viagogo are the two largest ticket markets, so you should have no problem finding tickets for sports events. However, it is important to note that fares on these platforms may be higher than the face value, as many tickets come from dealers.
For example, TPG credit card writer Danyal Ahmed is a big fan of the Los Angeles Lakers and can make the most of his credit by getting tickets to the game in November or December and get tickets again after the New Year arrives. In this way, he will use his credit effectively in the second half of 2025 and the first half of 2026.
Personally, I’m considering having this card use this credit on Oregon Ducks Football Tickets. Since the annual credit breaks down, I can buy a ticket for October or November for up to $150. Then, if Fortune favored me, Oregon made a deep effort in the college football playoffs, I could buy tickets for the playoffs in January for the other $150.

While credit may not fully cover the fees for tickets, it can actually save you a total cost of $150. On the other hand, if your ticket is cheaper than $150, you can use this credit on multiple purchases until you get a biennial distribution.
Note: If you are the current sapphire reserve holder who applied before June 23, you will access this credit after October 26.

Travel credit
this Chatong Sapphire Reserve Annual $300 travel credit is available. By far, it’s one of the easiest credits to use – you may not even realize you’re using it. It will automatically trigger after you make any code purchases as a trip, including buses, parking and tolls.

This is great for sports fans, with many options to use credit. You can use it on your flight, or you can pay for parking if you are local and just want to drive to the game.
Better yet, the credit is not allocated to the distribution and can be used at once.

Hotel points
Cardholders receive an annual statement credit of up to $500 for hotels booked through ChaseTravel℠, respectively, of $250. There is a prepayment of at least two nights.

Editor is a luxury hotel reservation platform. Sports fans won’t laugh at the idea of hotel accommodation discounts. In sports events, in most major cities, you can spend two nights of stays with editing for just $250, but you can effectively save up to $250 a year.
Also, if you have a hotel elite status, these benefits will apply when booking through editing and you will receive hotel points and elite night points, which is not typical when booking through an online travel agency.
Note: If you are the current sapphire reserve holder who applied before June 23, you will access this credit after October 26.

Apple Subscription
Chatong Sapphire Reserve Cardholders receive free Apple Music and Apple TV+ subscriptions (until June 22, 2027; once per service is activated via the Chase.com or Chase Mobile app).

Most people don’t realize that Apple TV+ plays many games, including games from MLB and MLB football games. Plus, Apple TV+ has a variety of fun sports documentaries and scripted shows (such as one of my favorite “Ted Lasso”). While everyone may not use this subscription, this is a good benefit for sports fans if you can.
Note: If you are the current sapphire reserve holder who applied before June 23, you will access this credit after October 26.
