British Airways opens uninterrupted service from St. Louis to London in 2026

British Airways is in St. Louis Attractions.
Next spring, the UK-based airline will fly from St. Louis Lambert International Airport (STL) to London’s Heathrow Airport (LHR).
The new flight to be launched in April 2026 will allow St. Louis area travelers to cross the Atlantic Ocean on the second uninterrupted route after German airline Derman Carrier Lufthansa conducted uninterrupted services from STL to Frankfurt Airport (FRA).
New flights at Heathrow Airport will also be for a variety of destinations that arrive in London and connect to Europe, Africa and the Middle East by British Airways and its partners.
As for British Airways, STL will be the 27th American airport for the airline.
This is the U.S. roadmap next summer, what each cirium looks like. Note that it offers nearly every destination for the Heathrow Airport hub – except for the Orlando International Airport (MCO) and Tampa International Airport (TPA) connected to the smaller London Gatwick Airport (LGW).

Travelers looking to book British Airways flights with points and miles have many options.
If you are an American traveler with a large number of American Airlines Aadvantage miles, you can use these travelers to book seats on British Airways, as both airlines are partners with OneWorld Alliance (just be wary of taxes and fees, which can run high on London travel).
Additionally, numerous credit cards and/or transferable currency plans allow you to move points directly to the British Airways Club, including:
Although Citi thanks for your rewards that don’t offer direct transfers to British Airways, you can transfer points to Qatar Airways Privileges Club that uses the same Avios reward currency and then transfer these Avios to British Airways using free tools.
