As of January 1, 2026, Aeroplan will turn to a spend-based system to earn and maintain elite status. Cardholders will receive a 35K Aeroplan status after spending $75,000 in a calendar year. Cardholders of Aeroplan cards must spend $50,000 on cards by December 31, 2025 to secure Aeroplan 35K status until January 2027.
