Google Flight Deals is a site: a new way to save travel

Google has just launched Flight Deals, a new AI-powered search tool in Google Flights. I’ve been testing it and although it’s not perfect, it’s another great tool for the company and I think it’s the best flying trading tool on the market.
“Flight deals are designed for flexible travelers whose primary goal is to save money on your next trip,” Google says. “You can describe when, where and how to travel, and flight deals will take care of the rest.” The system uses Google’s AI model to process what you’re looking for, and then quickly shows you the cheapest, best flights with your own Google Flights data.
Currently, flight deals are still in beta testing “see how AI can improve travel plans”.
I’d like to try that. Read in some ways, but sometimes it’s not that good.
Use Google Flight Transactions
Google flight deals are very easy to use. To access it, go to the Google Flights page and select the Flight Transactions tab from the main menu bar. It should be marked (currently) as the “new” icon.

I typed on “Long Weekend in the Caribbean in November.” Chicago is considered my place because that’s where I’m writing this, but you can adjust it if you need it.

Google gave me 12 options, including United Airlines’ Bahamas an interesting option.

Once the Nassau option was selected, the site redirected me to the traditional Google Flights page, which highlights Manchester United flights. That often travels to Nassau with uninterrupted flights of $395 is a good choice.

As can be seen from Google’s historical data, this flight is $360 below the average.

This is where Google really shines – although most of this feature already exists in Google Flights Exploration. Still, AI tools are an interesting way to drill down to some interactive maps more deeply.
Here is another example of how I can push the tool more deeply. I asked it to find a “ski trip to Switzerland this winter”. It proposed two trips to St. Moritz or Arderberdon. Interestingly, although the long flight time is a bit annoying (25 hours!).

When I changed my location to New York City, the price of the same trip even dropped further. The journey to Abelboden dropped to $350 round trip to Condor, with only 11 hours being much better.

However, using new AI tools is not always better, as it doesn’t seem certain yet The best Every search.
For example, if I just want to go to Zurich (with easy access to many ski resorts), mining Google flights in an old-fashioned way will get better offers and more options.

I also asked Google Flight Deals to find “a cheap trip to Australia for cheap two weeks this spring”.

While I appreciate the $1,000 flight option, I wasn’t impressed by what Google found. For this agenda, the price seems to be quite average.
Again, a quick manual search via Google flights allowed me to find a deal on all Japanese airlines without any help from AI.

Another key limitation of the new tool is the difficulty in achieving target search. If you have a specific date and destination, this is not a tool that can be used. For example, if you want to travel from San Francisco to Las Vegas during the Thanksgiving week, the tool can only find one option.

But it did find my deal for my last minute trip to Bozeman, Montana this weekend.

Your mileage may vary, but generally you should give the tool as wide as possible.
You can use it on your computer or mobile phone. In another example, Google recommends looking for “a week-long trip this winter to a city where you keep eating delicious food.”
Bottom line
Google is a cool new feature Beta tested its popular Google Flights Pages-AIAD search.
Google Flights is already one of my favorite hacker travel tools. Actually, I love it so much that I wrote a guide to use it effectively for travel planning; I also provided a complete guide to using Google Flights Explore, one of the incredible features nested in Google Flights.
Google Flight Deals is another popular addition to an already powerful arsenal of weapons for flight trading tools.
