Here are more ways to focus more on LinkedIn and the attention of the right people who might want to hire you. I am Jeff Altman,,,,, Large game hunter. People don’t have employed my BS job coaches and career advice worldwide because the process of finding a job and being successful is easier.
The first thing to do is to spend more time identifying the company to work for instead of always applying for a job. This also includes identifying the specific VP and specific senior leaders who may be your boss and starting to target them.
When it comes to determining the company to work for, the logic is really simple: applying for a job does not fill many positions, and the positions submitted by the recruiter cannot fill many positions. The Internet does. The network accounts for 70% of all jobs and 85% of all jobs, depending on the statistics you view.

Comment on their posts. Comment on anyone you have identified with, or the senior leader of the organization. Why? They start to notice you. When they start to notice you, they start exploring things about you.
When I talk about comments, I’m not talking about “Hey, great posts”. I’m talking about their thoughtful, funny, supportive posts. Even if you disagree, you can say something: “When I think of this question, I’m curious, fill in the blanks.” So what you start doing is having a conversation – masking information, substantive conversation. Then from there they will start to recognize your name and be curious about you.
